Eddie Stamper Jr., originally from Huntington, West Virginia, got his start in politics with Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) at Marshall University. He became the West Virginia State Chair and attended the Leadership Institute's Student Activism Conference and Youth Leadership School in the months afterward.
He moved to the Washington, DC area in January 2017 to participate in the Koch Internship Program at YAL, stayed for the summer to participate in the Koch Fellows Program at the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), and then worked as a digital marketing contractor in the area for CEI and other organizations.
Eddie joined the Leadership Institute in February 2018 as Strategic Marketing Manager.
